Built in Los Angeles since 1990.
Full Bloom started in West Los Angeles in 1990 with one truck and a handful of yards. It grew the slow way: do the work well, show up when promised, and let the neighbors notice.
Thirty-five years on, the company has stayed small on purpose. Two crews, kept together for years, means the people who show up know the property, know what was planted and why, and notice when something changes. About half the work is residential and half is commercial and multi-unit, which keeps the crews sharp on both the detail of a backyard and the discipline of a schedule.
How a project works
Four steps, the same for a backyard or a building. One point of contact from start to finish, at (480) 848-4885.
- 1
Walkthrough
We meet at the property, listen, and look at the whole site, not just the thing you called about. Big job or small, this visit is free.
- 2
Plan and price
A written scope, a drawing where the job needs one, a fixed price and a start date.
- 3
Build
Our own crews, a clean site every evening, and a daily update if you want one.
- 4
Care
If you want it, we stay on and keep it looking like the day we finished.
Good to know
Our guarantee
Planned right, built once, on time and on budget, in writing on every estimate. If something we installed fails because of our workmanship, we come back and make it right at no charge. If a plant we chose dies while the yard is on our care program, we replace it. If a crew misses a scheduled visit, that visit is free. None of this depends on you chasing us.
What a weekly visit includes
The same checklist every week: mowing and edging, blowing hardscape clean, pruning and deadheading, weeding the beds, and a walk of the irrigation to catch broken or misaimed heads before they cost you a plant. Through the year the crew rotates seasonal color, feeds, mulches and adjusts watering as the weather turns. If something needs more than the visit allows, you hear about it before it becomes a problem.
Property managers and HOAs
About half of our contracts are commercial or multi-unit: apartment buildings, condo associations, small retail and management portfolios. Service runs on a fixed schedule, billing is consolidated across properties, and boards get service logs and photos on request. One number answers between visits. We are used to budgets, approvals, walkthroughs and the occasional emergency.
Licensed, insured and bonded
Full Bloom is a licensed California landscape contractor and carries general liability and workers’ compensation coverage. The license number and current certificates of insurance are available on request and attached to every commercial proposal, so your manager or board has them on file before work starts.
Pricing and payment
Estimates are free, in writing, and carry no obligation. No two yards are alike, so we give a realistic range on the first call rather than a low number that grows later. Care programs are billed monthly. Project work is billed in stages tied to progress, never all up front. We take cash, check, card, Zelle, Venmo and Cash App.
Water, drought and the LA climate
Much of our design work in the last decade has replaced thirsty lawns with native and Mediterranean planting that looks full all year and drinks a fraction of the water. We size irrigation to the plants, not the other way round, and we will say honestly when a lawn makes sense and when it does not. Rebate programs change often; ask and we will point you to what is current.
How soon can you start?
A callback the same business day and a walkthrough within the week, followed by a written estimate. Repairs are usually done within the week. Project start dates depend on the season and the scope, and the date on the estimate is the date we hold to.
Do you work on slopes and hillsides?
Yes. Hillside work is mostly about water: grading, drains and planting that holds soil. We assess the slope on the first walkthrough and say plainly what it needs.
Which neighborhoods do you cover?
Weekly routes run across the Westside, Mid-City and the south Valley: Santa Monica, Brentwood, Bel Air, Beverly Hills, Pico-Robertson, Culver City, West Hollywood, the Hollywood Hills, Mid-City, Hancock Park, Studio City and Sherman Oaks. Projects reach further, from Malibu to Downtown and Burbank.
